Dominique Bélanger of the Hamilton Steelers was really in the zone as he mowed down the Toronto hitters 5-0 in a sterling mound performance.
"I'm feeling good overall," he said.
"I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations."
Bélanger shut down the Toronto Sting, blanking them on 3 hits while registering 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.
So far in 10 starts this season, Bélanger has recorded 7 wins and sustained 1 loss. He has pitched 73.2 innings, yielded 40 hits, fanned 69 and has a 0.86 ERA. |

In the month of May Renaud Roy hit the ball hard, often and with authority and was honored as the Latitude Division Rookie of the Month.
He did it in standout fashion as the Hamilton's catcher hit .333 with 1 home run and 13 RBIs while scoring 8 runs.
